Questions specific to Post-Prom & Post-Grad lock-ins
What do you do if it is raining outside the day of my event?
Well, that depends. This question has recently been moved to the top of this page because of the confusion with some people. The one thing that you can be sure of, is that if it is raining at the start of your event, or has been raining enough that the area where your event is to take place is soaked, we can not & will not set-up. A few options you may have include: rescheduling your event, canceling affected attractions for your event, moving your attractions inside if space allows it, or swapping your attractions for something that could fit inside (if available). There is always the option of our Rain Waiver, for details, please call us. As much as we would like your event to occur without any problems, we will always fall on the side of caution. Please contact us to be more specific, we know this must be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
Fun on the Run is a locally owned company that provides interactive inflatable rental attractions for all ages! We cater to functions such as company picnics, corporate events, school and church lock-ins, carnivals, tradeshow booths, and private birthday parties. Started in 1996, Fun on the Run has been part of over 4000 events.
Do you rent anything else besides inflatables?
Yes! Recently the range of
attractions has expanded into golf simulators, movie screens, race tracks,
photo booths, carnival games, dunk
tanks, sumo suits, concession supplies and casino gaming.
How do I know what I want to rent?
We will be more than happy to make suggestions for your event based on the information given by you.
What does it cost?
Each attraction has its own base price. Those base prices include delivery and set-up in Peoria, use of the attraction the event, teardown and removal.
How do I find out about pricing?
It would be best to call and speak to our office staff.
After getting specific information (such as location and times of your event)
from you,
we can quote exact numbers and check availability at the same time.
Will Fun on the
Run provide attendants to staff the attractions?
In certain
situations, Fun on the Run will require its own personal to attend each attraction. In
others, you as the customer have the option to attend it yourself. Prices
for all attractions do not include Fun on the Run attendants. This
allows you as the customer to save money and not pay for a service that
is not needed. Please contact us for specific information.
What if I’m outside of Peoria or in a different state?
No problem. We provide
service all across North America and Canada. Please call for any
potential extra travel fees if your event is located outside
the Peoria, IL. area.
Do I have to have my event outside?
No. Although
most scheduled
functions occur outside during the spring and summer, all Fun on
the Runâ attractions can be set-up indoors
as well (even Dunk
Tanks, ask us how!). The only restrictions are floor space
and ceiling height. School and church lock-ins are great examples.
If my event is outside, do I have to set-up on grass?
Not necessarily. If any
attractions does need to be set-up on anything but grass, (gravel,
concrete, blacktop) tarps can be laid down to protect
both the
inflatable and its participants. Keep in mind that all inflatables
require that NO SHOES be worn during play. To avoid a potential
heat problem on the feet or a risk of damage to the attractions,
please keep in mind the placement when planning your event.
Is it ever too
cold to set-up outside?
Yes. While there is no firm rule
as to how warm it should be before any inflatable can be blown up
outside, a minimum temperature of
55 degrees Fahrenheit has been
determined to prevent damage to any attraction. Keep in mind that
some attractions are not at all
effected by cold weather. Please ask
if you have any questions.
Do I need
special insurance if I rent these attractions?
It depends. Some private and public facilities require
specific coverage. Fun on the Run is fully insured up to $1,000,000.00 per
occurrence. Fun on the Run offers the option for you to be shown as "Certificate
Holder" or "Additional Insured" on its own
current policy at a nominal fee.
What about
electricity?
All the inflatables from Fun on the Run require standard 110v outlets with grounded plugs. Each
unit draws approximately 12 to 15 amps
of power while their
blowers run continuously. It is best to set the inflatables
within 75 to 80 feet of the outlets designated to be used.
We can determine the amount of electrical circuits needed once your order is
set.
In the event
plugs are not available or too far away, Fun on the Run can provide gas-powered generators at an additional charge.
