Our Staff

Dave Kinzinger, co-founder-owner-president-head monkey, started this little endeavor back in April 1996 and has kept growing the business ever since. Great employees like Anthony, Anthony, Adam, Adam, Aaron and others (see a pattern?) make sure all aspects of the business run smoothly.

Our History

The company’s origins go back to the summer of 1995 when Dave and business associate-turned great friend Chuck Rice discussed the need for this type of entertainment for the Peoria-area market. Each owned his own individual business at the time, and plenty of work and research was put into determining the best way to jump-start a successful rental company.

Although there were at the time a couple of “Mom & Pop” operators, no one was doing it on a serious level. After gathering all possible info, Fun on the Run was born on April Fool’s Day, 1996 and has not looked back since! A year later Chuck and his family made the decision to move out of the area and Dave took over all ownership in 1998.

Since then, all operations have moved into the current location, known as “The Funhouse.” Here, all attractions are cleaned, stored and given pep talks every day.

The selection of attractions has grown beyond just inflatables and now includes carnival games, dunk tanks, golf games, fun foods (popcorn, sno-cone, cotton candy machines), and even photo booths (great for wedding receptions)! Fun on the Run is now the largest inflatable rental company in Illinois south of Chicago and may soon take over the whole state!
